Macho Man Sunglasses collection
As you may know, I make made-to-order Macho Man sunglasses. Over the past few months, I've collected numerous images of the Macho Man - specifically ones where he's sporting a sweet pair of sunglasses - to use as inspiration and reference for my business.
I'm collecting everything I find over at Printerest.
The pictures below were captured from numerous videos I found, and are being cataloged - for the first time in internet history(!) - in still-image form.
In fact, I believe my Randy "Macho Man" Savage board is the largest database of it's kind.
It may be the only database, but, still.

The Mission Art Walk is TONIGHT!
Local artists, live music, good food and good times at the Mission Art Walk tonight from 6 to 10. I'll be at my booth selling paintings all evening, so come on down and say "hey."
This piece and plenty other Drew Stearns originals will be on sale for $15. That's a slick deal if you ask me.

The Art Walk came and went and a good time was had by all. I made six sales during the evening! Were they all to friends or family? Yes, but that still counts!

Macho Man Sunglasses
Randy "Macho Man" Savage left us too soon. For a few weeks following his death, I obsessed over the man, reading every obituary, watching hours of fuzzy VHS transfers on YouTube, and incessantly growling "SNAP INTO A SLIM JIM!"
My lust for Macho Man ephemera grew, but it was impossible to locate any official gear. Saddened that I couldn't find a DayGlo-yellow tasseled sequined leather jacket or a checkered neon cowboy hat, I decided to buy some wholesale shades and customize them with decorative foils.
You can find pairs I've already made, or submit an order for a custom-made pair on my Etsy page. Without a doubt, they're the key accessory in any Macho Man Halloween costume.

Take a look at what's new
A couple weeks back, I decided to consolidate all of my creative ventures into one location: this site. It now serves as my blog/resume/portfolio for all of my artistic pursuits. If you have a moment, take a peek at all the different pages I've set up, there's a little something for everyone.
Another thing: I'm going to start writing more. I'm not sure what about, exactly. I only know that it's a skill I want to develop, and the only way to get better at it, is to do it every day in some capacity. It also gives me a reason to do things I would never think to do otherwise, so I have something exciting or interesting to write about. Like performing a 3-minute stand up set during open mic night at a local comedy club or placing a 500 to 1 odds bet with an English bookmaker that bigfoot is discovered. Expect to hear about both of those adventures soon.
